1. What Is a Pre-Order?
A pre-order is a purchase made for a product that has not yet been released or is not yet available to ship. By placing a pre-order with Relic Hobby, you are reserving your unit of a specific product ahead of its official release date. Your order will be fulfilled and shipped as soon as the product becomes available and arrives at our facility.
2. Pre-Order Availability

- Pre-order products are listed based on confirmed or announced upcoming releases from manufacturers
- Availability of pre-order quantities is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
- Placing a pre-order early is the best way to guarantee your unit of a highly anticipated release
3. Payment & Charges
- Payment is collected in full at the time the pre-order is placed
- We accept all standard payment methods: Credit Card, Debit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link by Stripe — all processed securely through Stripe
- Your payment is charged immediately upon checkout — not at the time of shipment
- By placing a pre-order, you authorize Relic Hobby to charge your selected payment method in full at the time of purchase
4. Release Dates & Timelines
- Release dates listed on pre-order products are estimates provided by manufacturers and are subject to change without notice
- Relic Hobby does not control manufacturer production schedules, distributor allocation timelines, or shipping schedules from manufacturers
- We make every effort to provide the most up-to-date release information available at the time of listing
- Release dates may be pushed back, moved forward, or changed entirely by the manufacturer at any time
We will notify you by email if:
- A pre-order release date changes significantly
- A product is delayed beyond its originally announced window
- A pre-order product is cancelled by the manufacturer or becomes unavailable
5. Shipping of Pre-Orders
- Pre-order items are shipped as soon as they arrive at our facility following the official release
- Processing time for pre-orders follows our standard processing window of 1–3 business days after the product is received
- Estimated delivery after shipment is 3–7 business days
- Free shipping applies to all pre-order shipments — no minimum required
- You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as your pre-order has been dispatched
- If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, your order may be held and shipped together when the pre-order item becomes available, or shipped in separate packages at our discretion
6. Pre-Order Cancellations
- Pre-orders cannot be cancelled once they have entered the fulfillment stage (i.e., once the product has arrived at our facility and your order has begun processing)
- Pre-orders that have not yet entered fulfillment may be eligible for cancellation — please contact us as soon as possible at support@relichobby.shop if you need to cancel
- Cancellation requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed
- If a pre-order product is cancelled or discontinued by the manufacturer and we are unable to fulfill your order, you will receive a full refund within 10 business days
7. Returns & Refunds on Pre-Orders
Pre-order items follow the same return and refund policy as in-stock items:
- Returns are accepted on unopened, factory-sealed items only
- Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of the delivery date
- Refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving the returned item
- Opened pre-order products are not eligible for return under any circumstances
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error

9. Price Adjustments on Pre-Orders

- Relic Hobby reserves the right to adjust pre-order pricing in the event of significant changes in distributor cost or market conditions
- If a price adjustment affects your pre-order, we will notify you by email and give you the option to maintain your order at the new price or cancel for a full refund
- We do not offer retroactive price adjustments on pre-orders that have already been placed and paid
10. Pre-Order Allocation
- Pre-order quantities are limited and based on our distributor allocation
- In rare cases, our distributor allocation may be reduced by the manufacturer after pre-orders have been accepted
- If we are unable to fulfill all pre-orders due to allocation reductions, we will fulfill orders on a first-come, first-served basis and issue full refunds to any customers whose orders cannot be filled
